Waiting in the Meantime

A Guided Journey Toward Hope and Healing for Mothers of Estranged Adult Children

When an adult child goes “no contact” and walks away from the family fold, a mother is often left with unanswered questions, grief, and the heartbreak of separation from grandchildren. This type of estrangement has become a tragic trend in our society today, bringing unbearable pain to millions of mothers.

Waiting in the Meantime is an 8-week guided Bible study designed specifically for mothers of estranged adult children. Through Scripture, personal reflection, guided journaling, practical encouragement, and solid advice, this study helps today’s mothers better understand and deal with the inevitable grief, fear, shame, guilt, anger, and other strong emotions brought about by painful broken family relationships.

Whether used for personal study or in a small group, this compassionate resource provides a safe place to name and process difficult emotions, replace harmful self-talk with biblical truth, and strengthen the faith of mothers who wait with hope for healing in the meantime.
