Katelyn Maten is a Production Technologies student at the University of Mobile with a passion for visual storytelling through photography and media.

A published journalist and photographer, she has served as a correspondent for The Alabama Baptist and completed a summer internship with the publication, gaining experience capturing stories that highlight God’s work through the local church.

Katelyn also serves in worship ministry, running sound for Welsh Revival, and enjoys using her creative gifts to support the church. Her heart for ministry is reflected in her favorite Bible verse, Matthew 5:16: “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Through photography, she seeks to tell authentic stories that point others to Christ.
